Benefits of Cedar Plank Cooking

Now, let's dive into the juicy bits – the benefits:

Infusing Smoky Aromas

Cooking on a cedar plank infuses your salmon with a flavor that's hard to achieve on the grill grate alone. It's like a smoke signal to your taste buds saying, "Get ready for something amazing!"

Moisture Retention in Salmon

But that's not all. Cedar plank cooking is a guardian of moisture. Say goodbye to dry, lackluster salmon. The plank cradles the fish, ensuring it emerges from the grill as juicy as a summer peach.

Texture & Shape Retention

Plus, thanks to the plank, your salmon maintains its texture and shape, avoiding the tragic tale of a fish falling apart on the grill.

Avoid Cross-Contamination from Grilling

And here's a little nugget of wisdom: cedar plank cooking can save the day when it comes to cross-contamination. Say goodbye to the worry of grilling mishaps – the plank has your back. For those skeptical minds, check out the USDA's take on the matter here.
