On The Menu: Bareburger

NYC's own Bareburger, known for their high quality meats and plethora of burger choices, puts options and control into the hands of their customers.  Eaters can create customized burgers, choosing from a long list of proteins including bison, elk, wild boar, duck, turkey and of course, classic beef.  Even vegetarians are treated to a nice range of veggie burger options including sweet potato & wild rice, black bean and farmer's quinoa.

But for our visit to Bareburger's LaGuardia Place outpost, we were there to eat chicken. And milkshakes.

Barebuger's Hot Honey Chicken sandwich features buttermilk fried chicken, crunchy brussels slaw, a disc of grilled pineapple, crispy lotus root and a drizzle of Mike's Hot Honey, all piled onto a tasty sprout bun.  The wonderful range of textures in this sandwich are only surpassed by the unique and delicious flavors that make up each bite.

Pair the Hot Honey Chicken 'wich with a Hot Honey Milkshake and you've got yourself a nice little Mike's Hot Honey combo.  The shake is made by swirling ribbons of Mike's Hot Honey throughout rich vanilla ice cream.  As you sip the shake, the creamy vanilla is complimented by bits of heat from the MHH.

We're certain you've never tasted a sandwich or shake like this and with 43 locations and counting, we have the feeling that a date with Bareburger is in your future.
